Caherdaniel: (Irish: Cathair Dónall - Dónall's stone ringfort) As the name suggests, there is an ancient Ringfort nearby - also Derrynane House, now a museum and former home of Daniel O'Connell the 'Liberator'. The beach at Caherdaniel is one of Ireland's finest. As you can see there are few B&Bs in Caherdaniel but if it's peace you require on your way round the Ring of Kerry, this is a good place to stay with rooms from €55. Please book directly with the B&B via this website to minimise costs to the B&B owners - Alternatively, you may telephone B&Bs directly.
