The Ring of Kerry (Irish: Mórchuaird Chiarraí) is a 179-kilometre-long (111-mile) circular route in the south west of County Kerry Ireland in what is known as the Iveragh Peninsula. It is the most popular tourist trail in Ireland, known for its pure, natural and unspoilt beauty along with a spur, the Skellig Ring, at its most westerly point. You can take a day trip on one of the many tour buses from Killarney but realistically you should spend a few days touring by cycle or car to ensure you capture the visual memories of those who've gone before you.
